Granada
So we´ve been here for just over two weeks now in Europe. So far so good, Nothing reallt bad has happened, I left my waterbottle on a train, my sun glasses were stolen while we slept on some park benches, I just got over whet i think was a cold and I lost my rosery (twice). but that aside everything has been going really well and I can´t complain. The spanish citys are beautiful and The people are quite helpful. We must look like some criminals that they´re looking for or something tho because the policia have asked us for our passports 3 times now, each in different citys. The first time we were just sitting on a park bench playing cards for quite a while and the policia came drove up and asked for identification, we gave it and they drove off. The next one we just sat down to take a break from walking (In a park again) and a police man came up and asked for our passports. I don´t know if we were being a disturbance to anyone but after he phoned in our passport numbers he drove off. And again earlier today we got off the train here in Granada and the police stoped us and asked for our passports. This time tho they stoped other people to. Again tho I can´t complain. Also I shoulnd´t of called it tyler and matts epic european adventure, a better name for it would have been tyler and matt lazally lounge around europe when we´re not walking great distances with our 50lb backpacks.

Madrid
Its the third night here in Madrid and our last. We´ll take the train tomorrow to barcalona I believe it was. things have been going rather smoothly, staying under budget everyday, not much trouble with the language barrier, things like that. Not to say everythings been perfect, such as luis not coming which was a bit of a set back at first seeing as he has our book and map for spain, but we´ve made do. The people here are actually VERY polite and nice, acually the first day in the hostal when we checked in we met a man from cranston R.I. of all places. The city is Beautiful, the foods great, so far the trip is going well.

Oh the events that shall soon come to pass.
It's the evening before we fly out to our first destination, Madrid Spain, and I just hope that we'll have a safe flight and nothing happens to all the gear that we've put so much thought, time and money into acquiring, on the fly over sea's.
I can hardly believe that its happening tomorrow, it seems like yesterday me and Tyler were walking the streets of providence at 3 O'clock in the morning, talking about traveling Europe together once we were both 18. even tho it was several years ago now. I'm glad we actually came threw with our little goal in life.
Scared yet happy, worried but excited, we get ready to see the world.
"The paths fork and divide. With each step you take through Destiny's garden, you make a choice; and every choice determines future paths. However, at the end of a lifetime of walking you might look back, and see only one path stretching out behind you; or look ahead, and see only darkness."
Now, we leave to walk our chosen paths.
